OUR STORY
Born from a personal journey.
Built on honest research.

"The food and wellness space had a massive gap, and someone needed to fill it with honesty instead of hype."
Like many people, I always carried a dream of building something of my own - I just didn't know what, where, or how to begin. That answer found me, almost by accident, while I was exploring the world of millets.
What started as curiosity about millets soon opened the door to a much bigger world -sugar reduction, diabetes, and the way certain foods affect our bodies. Along the way, I also stumbled upon something troubling: how much marketing in the food industry misleads people, and how widespread food adulteration really is. That's when it hit me the food and wellness space had a massive gap, and someone needed to fill it with honesty instead of hype.
The Turning Point Was Personal
My girlfriend was diagnosed with PCOS, and like anyone who loves someone struggling with a health condition, I wanted to understand everything I could to help her. What began as worried late-night scrolling on Instagram slowly turned into something much deeper. I started reading medical journals, meta-analyses, and books trying to make sense of a condition that felt overwhelming.
The more I read, the more I realized how connected everything truly is. Diet, lifestyle, and daily habits play a far bigger role in our health than we're often told. I learned how insulin resistance sits at the center of conditions like PCOS, type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, and cardiovascular disease not as separate issues, but as pieces of the same puzzle.
Around this time, I connected with a manufacturer working with low-calorie sweeteners, and that's where things came together. I discovered how alternatives like monk fruit, stevia, and allulose could genuinely help people managing diabetes, PCOS, and obesity, or simply looking to cut back on refined sugar without compromising on taste or wellbeing.
That's how Swappit was born.
(We started as Siptru, and later evolved into Swappit - a name that better reflects what we stand for: simple swaps for a healthier life.)
